In Need of a Sponsor

April found herself considered a “spent” dairy cow on a large dairy operation. her milk production had decreased drastically and she couldn’t Become pregnant--therefore providing no value to the business. Thankfully, the same farmhand who connected us with several other of our cow residents, contacted us about April. She is May’s mother, and Tay’s grandmother!

We are so fortunate to be able to honor Tay in such a special way by caring for now two of her biological family members. Families are routinely separated in the animal agriculture industry, so for May and April to have the opportunity to grow old together is incredibly rare. April is quiet, inquisitive, and grateful to have left her past life behind.
