Gerald, Willow, Valentina, and Snowy are quadruplet sibling goats. The quadruplets were rescued in January 2018 when they were just hours old after being abandoned by their mother. Goats don’t usually have four babies at once, so it’s likely their mama was way too overwhelmed. Because the quadruplets did not receive their mother's colostrum, they spent nearly a week at the Iowa State University Large Animal Hospital where they were cared for around the clock. Since then, the quadruplets have grown happier and healthier every day. Gerald has taken on the guardian role for his sisters and brother. One way to tell Gerald apart from his siblings is by looking for his adorable overbite.
