Suzy came into our care from a small farm with what we had assumed to be some degree of blindness, which was later ruled out. An MRI revealed that the sweet Suzy just had a very tiny brain and required bottle-feeding upon her arrival.

Since arriving at the sanctuary, Suzy has been healthy and thriving, making friends with Elphaba and Juniper in the nursery. The three are often found grazing together, going on little adventures across the property, and soaking up the sunshine during the warmer months.

With her gentle spirit and one-of-a-kind charm, Suzy reminds us daily that perfection comes in all forms.
