Theo

Theo came to the sanctuary as a young pig after suffering a suspected traumatic spinal injury. Once nearly paralyzed and dragging her back legs, Theo regained strength and function, and was eventually able to walk and run! She had occasional flare ups (lethargy, GI symptoms, reduced mobility) related to her lingering nerve damage, but a specific cocktail of medications helped her get through several of these early setbacks.

While we knew that there could come a time when the medications would no longer get her through her flare ups, we are so thankful for the many months that Theo was able to absolutely love her life at IFS. Our sweet little girl had a huge personality and was quite the social butterfly—making friends with animals and humans alike! Theo had an especially strong bond with Tay, and the two often snuggled together during their time as roommates.
