After falling from a moving semi along a busy interstate, baby Dot sustained a badly fractured femur from the impact. A good samaritan rescued her and we welcomed her into our care--her prognosis unknown. After x-rays and an extensive medical evaluation, Dot required two different surgeries to try and get her tiny, shattered bones back in place. She will likely have lasting effects of this severe injury for the remainder of her life--but nothing gets this joyful girl down! She loves snuggles, belly rubs, wearing sweaters, and her foster dad, John.
